Discover the Foodie neighborhood of downtown San Jose – new downtown San Jose restaurants have been popping up left and right! On January 26th, you’ll be able to crawl through 4 NEW restaurants and discover a taste of downtown with a progressive dinner.
Every restaurant on the list opened in 2010 and is family owned. Hit the savory street – join the crawl and support your local bites. Dishcrawl will be venturing through the city to The Mmoon, The Wow Truck, Ruffled Feathers, and Psycho Donuts!
Here’s the Dishcrawl Bites on each featured spot –
The Mmoon –“Flaky and buttery, these empanadas are stuffed with goodies like meat and cheese. A gourmet bite great with a beer!” Psst – They have a secret family recipe for their chimichurri sauce. The Wow Truck — The Wow Truck is San Jose’s newest Filipino food truck. Created by the folks who founded Attic Restaurant and Poleng Lounge, The WoW Truck is the perfect lunch or late night destination!
Ruffled Feathers — San Jose welcomes food centered on fresh ingredients. Ruffled Feathers is becoming a fresh, local hotspot for pizza and pitas + caters to the Gluten Free, Sugar Free and Salt Free eaters.
Psycho Donuts — Who doesn’t love a crazy bite of sweetness to top off a meal? Check out the donut fries with strawberry jam and custard filling as the “ketchup and mayo”.
